The University switched to single stream recycling during this reporting period. The transition caused some confusion and may have led to lower recycling rates than previous years.
Additionally, the University recently changed waste hauling venders. Current weight information is much more reliable that previous years. As such, total waste generation in 2005 may have been higher than what was reported by the previous waste hauler.
