The New York State Pollution Prevention Institute (NYSP2I), housed at RIT, has developed a student competition in which teams must identify a specific activity at their university with a high environmental footprint and define a solution for lowering the impact. Up to twelve teams are selected for the competition with each receiving a modest grant for non-personnel expenses.
