The University works with the Town of Henrietta regularly on a variety of issues including expanding bike and pedestrian infrastructure.

Yes

New York State is currently revamping its energy policies to advance its renewable portfolio standards and CO2 emissions targets. As a member of the Coalition Of Renewable Energy users or CORE, RIT has been actively working with regulators and advocating with legislators to advance policies that encourage rather than inhibit institutions from developing large scale renewable projects.
