A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:
RIT Food Share Program has been in operation since 2015. The two-part program includes:
1) A Food Share Center, where members of the RIT community (including students and employees) can get canned products, dry goods, and fresh groceries - no questions asked
2) A Food Share facebook group where anyone can post the availability of free food (such as leftovers from events) for students to grab. This reduces food waste, while providing free food for students who want it.
