A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
For total courses, we counted all undergraduate courses offered in the course catalogue.
To identify sustainability-focused and inclusive courses, the College's online course schedule for the 2019-2020 were reviewed to identify all sustainability courses. Course descriptions, where appropriate, were copied from the pertinent department's websites.
We were unable to inventory graduate courses, as Saint Mary's does not have a graduate course catalogue. Thus, we altered our total number of academic departments to only include departments that offer undergraduate degrees.
