The Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, Sheila Hughes, represents Saint Mary's participant in a public policy advocacy group, the East Bay Leadership Council. This group have been actively supporting Ballot Measures that reduce congestion and greenhouse gas emissions by improving transit times, safety, and air quality.
