As of July 1, 2021, Vermont Law Act 148 will require the elimination of all single-use disposable plastics - bags, containers, utensils, etc. from use.
Saint Michael's has already eliminated plastic straws, plastic dinner and serviceware and utensils, plastic water bottles and styrofoam products. When our current supply of plastic bags (campus store) is gone, we will use recycled plastic bags and reusable cloth bags (which are available now).
