Salisbury University has the Office of Diversity and Inclusion whose mission is “Provide leadership, build capacity and forge partnerships to facilitate shared responsibility for creating a diverse and inclusive campus in which students, faculty and staff can excel." There is also the Cultural Diversity and Inclusion Consortium Committee which is made up of representatives from the various bodies of campus governance (Faculty Senate, Staff Senate, Student Government, Graduate Student Council, Adjunct Faculty Council) as well as a member of the cabinet and representatives from The Multicultural Alliance and the Fraternity & Sorority Councils. Each School/College and the library also has their own committee.
Cultural Diversity and Inclusion Consortium Committee:
The purpose of the committee shall be to assist campus leadership in weaving the diversity strategy throughout the University through providing advice, monitoring the campus climate as it relates to diversity, inclusion and equity, advocating for diversity and inclusion throughout the institution, advising on the recruitment and retention of a diverse faculty, staff and student body, developing programs and initiatives to promote the University’s diversity goals and support community members, building networks to support the diversity mission, monitoring implementation of diversity goals of the Strategic Plan, and assessing progress and setting goals for improvement.

All new students are assigned a virtual DEI training via an online educational platform. There is also an in-person diversity session during New Student Orientation.
All new employees are required to do an online training through Vector Solutions. Registration to the annual Anti-Racism Summit is free and open to the entire campus community.
