A brief description of the employee wellness program, policy, or practice:
Santa Clara offers faculty, staff, and their dependents access to a full range of emotional health services provided by United Behavioral Health. Faculty and staff are encouraged to take advantage of confidential personal counseling, legal assistance, and financial consultation. Santa Clara University encourages all faculty and staff to use the Fitness and Recreation Center, Aquatic Center, and the Tennis Center to improve their personal health and well-being. Access to these facilities is free for faculty, staff, and their spouses; fitness classes are available for a nominal charge. Human Resources also regularly provides professional development opportunities related to work-life balance.
