A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
SCU strives to use the energy-efficient and sustainable vehicles in its campus fleet. While the fleet still includes a number of combustion engine vehicles, the University has been making progress in eliminating gas-powered vehicles from their fleet and purchasing hybrid and electric vehicles in their place. The proportion of sustainable vehicles in the campus fleet has grown consistently, and will continue to do so.
