Santa Clara University's integrated Strategic Plan includes: "Goal 2 - Fashioning a more humane, just, and sustainable world".
To address this priority, the Plan includes the goal of cultivating "within its students the knowledge, skills, ethical reasoning, global perspective, and desire to help fashion a more humane, just, and sustainable world." Specifically, SCU hopes to achieve this through becoming climate neutral and zero waste, as well as using the campus as a living laboratory for creating solutions to global issues of justice and sustainability.
