The college's Indigenous Student Navigator is an important member of the Strategic Enrolment Management planning team. They host specialized tours for local Indigenous groups and attend national events such as AGMs and conferences sharing marketing materials, with an Indigenous emphasis.

For students:
Aboriginal Student Services provides support to all prospective and current Aboriginal students and can help connect students to financial aid advice, community support, career counseling, cultural activities and much more.

Disability Services provides a variety of services to support the educational goals of students with documented disabilities. Disability Services employees work to eliminate physical, instructional and attitudinal barriers by providing reasonable accommodations and fostering awareness within the college community. In addition to recommending reasonable academic accommodation, eligible students are assisted with access to funding for equipment, adaptive software and other programs and services. Transition information for prospective students is provided and assistance with admissions and registration procedures is offered.

The Selkirk Options for Sexual Health (Opt) Clinic serves Selkirk students as an on-campus drop-in clinic run by nurses and student nurses. Opt is a society that celebrates healthy sexuality, its diversity of expression, and a positive sexual self-image for individuals throughout life.

Selkirk College envisions campuses and a society free of anti-LGBTQ prejudice, bigotry and hate. The vision is to create a fully equitable community of all genders and sexualities that is free of discrimination and strives for knowledge, challenges barriers, and seeks to empower agents of social change. The College's Healthy Campus Department and Counselling Department offer support services for those who identify as LGBTQ+.

For students, staff and faculty:
Childcare services at The Children's Centre, located on the Castlegar campus, is accessible to students, staff, and the general public. Children's Centre staff will do everything possible to accommodate Selkirk College students in order to facilitate their studies.

For staff and faculty:
Selkirk offers an Employee and Family Assistance Program through Homewood Health to all staff and faculty. Counselling, coaching and support services are available for a large variety of topics and are provided in confidence.
Support is available on topics including:
- Career Development - ex. respect in the workplace, topics of discrimination
- Communication - ex. finding and giving support for transgender people
- Management - ex. resources for leading multi generational teams
- Transition - ex. guide for trans and gender-diverse people

Selkirk has a number of gender-neutral bathrooms on campus, however, we have yet to post an inventory.
