A brief description of the minimum total compensation provided to the institution’s lowest paid employee or pay grade:
$18.54/hr is the minimum total compensation to the institutions lowest paid employee or pay grade. These employees are eligible for a compensation package that includes a percentage of pay in lieu of vacation days (the percentage is based on years of employment, if they have less than 5 years of employment, they receive 4% of wages, if they more than 5 years of employment, they receive 6%. They are also entitled to join the pension plan (if they choose to do so).
