In compliance with a new goal in the SMP, the university is in the process of forming a Facilities Energy Committee which will not only meet regularly to address ongoing EC plans and projects, but will be the group that oversees compliance with the new Sewanee Green-Plus Building Standards, a guide that is under development that focuses and goes beyond the LEED certification requirements.
