Part 1. Greenhouse gas emissions inventory

Has the institution conducted a GHG emissions inventory within the previous three years that includes all Scope 1 and 2 emissions? :
Yes

A copy of the most recent GHG emissions inventory:
A brief description of the methodology and/or tool used to complete the GHG emissions inventory:
We utilized SIMAP to complete our GHG inventory.
We accounted for the following Scope 3 emissions:
Waste - via data collected from waste hauler
Commuting - to determine mileage for commuters we received an undifferentiated list of employee addresses and used GoogleMaps and the University address to compute the distance. We relied on the historic survey for Faculty/Staff commuter transportation choices used in our previous reports to estimate percentages of transportation modalities.

Has the GHG emissions inventory been validated internally by personnel who are independent of the GHG accounting and reporting process and/or verified by an independent, external third party?:
Yes

A brief description of the GHG inventory verification process:
Sustainability staff gather and record data in partnership with Human Resources and Facilities Management staff. Staff in the Office of Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability and the Energy Specialist review data for validity.

Documentation to support the GHG inventory verification process:
---
