A brief description of the central sustainability website (optional):
The Sustainability Office website is accessible through the Skidmore home page and is a centralized source of information for many of the College's sustainability efforts. It includes information about current campus sustainability initiatives, student programs, events, and community groups. Visitors may also download our greenhouse gas inventories, sustainability bulletins, and other sustainability reports from the website. Students also use the site to learn about student staff positions available in the Sustainability Office.

Dining Services offers brochures with information about the Skidmore Community Garden, other local food providers, and the Colleges commitment to serving 25% sustainable food by 2025. Dining Services created a local food map. The map is hung in the Murray-Aikins Dining Hall and The Spa to inform diners of the origin of many food products served on campus. Dining Services and the Sustainability Office collaborated to make ingredient-specific signage to bring attention to local and sustainable food options. This signage is posted at serving stations in the dining hall and includes information about the farm that produced each ingredient and the distance that each ingredient traveled to Skidmore.

The Sustainability Office website includes a page with tips that encourage students to adopt more sustainable habits. The Sustainability Office and the S-Reps post tips and facts on our Facebook pages, and we offer all RAs with a Skidmore Unplugged manual that includes ideas for incorporating sustainability into the residential life experience.

A brief description of these materials or publications:
The Campus Sustainability Subcommittee publishes and Annual Campus Sustainability Report to share our progress toward our institutional sustainability goals. The report also suggests future project ideas that the College hopes to implement. The goal of the report is to keep the community informed and provide a transparent account of our sustainability efforts and decisions.
