A brief description of the institution’s community garden:
SRU's Macoskey Center for Sustainable Research and Education maintains both a demonstration garden (that offers produce for sale at an on-campus farmers market) and community garden plots that can be rented by individuals from SRU or the surrounding community. Rental fees are quite low and reduced even further for individuals practicing organic gardening. Tools and rainwater for irrigation are provided by the gardeners at no cost.
