Yes
A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution, including how each program addresses the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of sustainability:
In Summer 2018, Southern Oregon University offered a course called Environment & Culture in Costa Rica. The course was available for SOU students and community members to enroll for an 10 day adventure in Costa Rica where students explored the country to learn about sustainable development and tropical ecology. Enrolled students attended 4 hours of on-campus orientation, covering trip logistics and specific environmental coursework. The orientation class sessions prepared students for the tropical ecology and sustainable development materials discussed during the trip. Students were also given access to an online learning platform (Moodle) where additional readings and learning materials were available.
