A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting:
The above data was compiled through a Commuting Survey, which was distributed to all students, staff, and faculty on social media, tabling at the Student Union and Dining Hall, an all-campus email from the Vice President for Finance and Administration, and a weekly newsletter. The survey was conducted for 3 weeks during Winter Term (usually in April). The survey received 413 valid student responses.

A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about employee commuting:
The above data was compiled through a Commuting Survey, which was distributed to all students, staff, and faculty on social media, tabling at the Student Union and Dining Hall, an all-campus email from the Vice President for Finance, and Administration, and a weekly newsletter. The survey was conducted for 3 weeks during Winter Term (usually in April). The survey received 167 valid student responses.
