The Southwestern University Student Council passed legislation that would make our only dining hall serve a meatless entree on the main line on Mondays.

Meat has a huge environmental impact compared to non-meat diet. It also has made vegetarianism more feasible and desirable on campus. 100s of schools have already done this but it is still a minority among IHEs so we qualified it as an "uncommon policy." http://www.meatlessmonday.com/
