A brief description of the institution’s employee community service initiatives:
There is an annual award for faculty to self-nominate called the SEVA award (compassionate service). It’s a $1000 cash award which a faculty member can receives for including successful service-learning in the classroom and to how their own example of volunteering has affected their students to get them to also do service.
Also, service can counts as a part of their tenure requirement.
