A brief description of the incentive program(s):
Curriculum Innovation (CIG) Grants: This program supports the creation of new courses needed to keep our education programs current in content, quality, and delivery, with the applicants addressing courses that focus on the expansion of students knowledge in diversity and intercultural issues.
Rice Creek Field Station Small Grants: These grants fund and SUNY Oswego faculty, student, or non-affiliated individual doing research at the field station.

A brief description of the incentives that academic staff who participate in the program(s) receive:
CIG: The maximum funding that can be received from this grant is up to $2400 for one faculty member and $3600 if two faculty members decided to teach the desired class together.
Rice Creek: Funding for the projects that are accepted under this grant can range from $500-$3000 depending on the magnitude of the research.
