A copy or sample of the questions related to sustainability culture:
A sample of the questions related to sustainability culture or the website URL where the assessment tool is available:
How much is this college contributing to your growth and learning in understanding
environmental and sustainability issues? (1 = No contribution; 5 = Very large contribution)

A brief description of how representative samples were reached (if applicable) and how the cultural assessment is administered:
The SOS is administered to all campuses in the SUNY system every third spring. Campuses are asked to provide a random sample of at least 2000 students. Oswego has focused on undergraduate, degree-seeking students, the College's primary service group.

A brief summary of results from the cultural assessment:
When the item was added to the SOS in 2012, SUNY Oswego scored relatively low compared to the peer group of other comprehensive schools. By 2018 Oswego had improved both the absolute score and its positive relative to the other schools, confirming the effectiveness of the College's campus-wide efforts to elevate sustainability learning and activities. The SOS is next scheduled during Spring 2021.
