"Leadership of Oswego County" Leadership Oswego County offers an annual leadership development program that prepares a select group of county residents to become the community stewards of the future. This group embarks on a nine-month course on Oswego County and its resources, vital issues of today, and visioning for tomorrow. Course is offered via the Office of Business and Community Relations.

"LifeLong Learning Program" (2 courses) Birdwatching with Rice Creek, Birdwatching is a wonderful way to observe wildlife and connect with nature regardless of whether one is in the city or a wild place. However, it can be challenging to know how to get started. In this course, we will start by covering evidence-based best practices for attracting and feeding birds, since backyard (or balcony) birding is a great way to closely observe and learn many common species. We will then broaden our scope to birding in other settings, discussing tips and techniques for identification, equipment recommendations, and birding etiquette. Participants will also have the chance to practice identifying birds using webcam footage.  Course is offered via Office of Business and Community Relations.

"Sustainable Gardening"- Join us for a fun-filled course on how to start a sustainable garden. You will learn tips, tricks and techniques for landscaping and gardening that will ensure maximum growth and sustainability. At the end of this course, you will have the skills needed to become more sustainable by growing and maintaining your own food and vegetation, and ensuring your garden's success for years to come! Course is offered via Office of Business and Community Relations.
