A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :
An SDG 17 rooms event was required participation for incoming students during their orientation. Club and department fairs, many of which are sustainability-oriented and/or focused, are always scheduled at the beginning of the semester for all graduate, transfer, and first year students. The Sustainability Coordinator also hosts events at the beginning of each semester for all graduate, transfer, first year, and returning students. Many of these events are collaborations with other departments like the Multicultural Center.
