A 20 x 233 ft. Roosevelt Wildlife Education and Research Center in the College's Gateway Center.
In December 2018, ESF completed construction of the Roosevelt Wildlife Education and Research Center in 5,715 square feet of previously unoccupied space in the basement of its Gateway Center. The project, which was designed and constructed to LEED V4 ID&C Platinum for Interior Design and Construction standards, includes specimen storage, educational and research space associated with the college's one-of-a-kind Roosevelt Wildlife Collection.

ESF is currently renovating Marshall Hall, the second oldest building at the College's Syracuse campus. It is a total of 87,530 gross square feet with about 54,883 net square feet in its existing configuration. The proposed design is 93,380 sq. ft., including a new external elevator/stair tower addition. The current layout accommodates 49,493 net square feet. The project is likely to be certified LEED Silver (BD+C) and should be substantially completed by the 2023 reporting cycle.
