A brief description of programs, policies, infrastructure investments, outreach efforts, and/or other factors that contribute to the diversion rate for construction and demolition waste:
Swarthmore College does not actively pursue LEED certification for all construction but we adhere to many of the tenets of their protocol. Recycling demolition materials is not only good policy it is good for the bottom line. The construction of the Wister Center was our most successful project to date. http://blogs.scottarboretum.org/gardenseeds/2009/08/trash/
