A brief description of how the institution (or its foundation) has engaged in shareholder advocacy that promotes sustainability during the previous 3 years. :
The College continues its policy of being a proactive shareholder. The College will vote on shareholder resolutions addressing social issues; such as sustainability. The committee will review all shareholder resolutions available for voting, then make recommendations on voting to the College's Investment Committee of its Board of Managers.
During the last three years, the committee's focus has been on educating itself on the various resolutions categorized as sustainability. We have attended shareholder meetings, conferences on shareholder advocacy, and have had discussions on collaborating with other groups to further the awareness of sustainability.
