A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
An email from Provost Sarah Willie-Lebreton was sent in February requesting faculty reflect on whether their research was sustainability-related and respond. The precise prompt was "Considering the past 3 years (since Spring semester 2017), briefly describe the topic(s) of your academic research in that time interval whose intent or effect was to connect any aspect of environmental and social systems." Faculty self-assessed and explained their reasoning for inclusion in this list, which was reviewed by Prof. Carr Everbach and Rachel Vresilovic.
