A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
An email from Provost Sarah Willie-Lebreton was sent in February requesting faculty reflect on whether their research was sustainability-related and respond. The precise prompt was "Considering the past 3 years, briefly describe the topic(s) of your academic research in that time interval whose intent or effect was to connect any aspect of environmental and social systems." Faculty self-assessed and explained their reasoning for inclusion in this list, which was reviewed by Prof. Carr Everbach and Jorge Lopez-Nava. In a few additional cases, a faculty's research description was linked to.
