We have a policy on construction waste and reporting from the College's design standards. The submission of a Construction Waste Management Plan is required to explain how the project will achieve the minimum landfill diversion rate of 75% for nonhazardous solid waste from the project.

The data for this credit was taken from the 2022 Annual Recycling Report submitted to Delaware County Municipality each year. The estimate of 50% of our construction and demolition waste being recycled vs. landfilled is provided by our waste provider. It is compiled by Chip Proctor, Manager of Administration for Environmental Services.
