A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
All new employees must attend New Employ Orientation. During the orientation Sustainability Management staff present to the group about our programs, sustainability on campus, sustainability in the office, sustainability in department and sustainability at home. Staff member also explains to the employees who we are, what we do, how to contact us and sustainably related programs and initiatives.
All new faculty attend a new faculty orientation, held once a year. Sustainability Management supply materials that explain who we are, what we do, and who to become involved. In addition, we created a pamphlet for new faculty that explains the programs we offer to specifically to professors including guest lecture, student internships, and how to become involved with programs like Bee Campus USA and the Pete's Giving Garden.
