A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
On an annual basis, TAFE Queensland staff are requested to complete an Employee Engagement Survey (EES) which is conducted by an external service provider. Individual responses are confidential and the feedback provided by staff is reviewed by TQ and TQGC managers. Appropriate action plans are put in place to address particular areas of concern.
All staff are encouraged to participate in the surveys as they are made available. The latest EES produced a 73% participation rate (3173 from 4355) across the whole of TAFE Queensland with a 77% participation rate (409 from 455) for the Gold Coast region. Robina Campus had a 73% participation rate.

A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:
The survey results are shown in a Bi report which Directors/Managers use to make changes to operational plans. If the issue is TAFE Queensland-wide, or region/campus specific then the General Manager will work with relevant team leads to implement the required changes.
The attachment included shows Robina Campus staff survey results compared to TAFE Queensland (TQ) results. The chart for assessing all category areas shows that Robina Campus staff are above the TQ results in all areas listed:
