Family Day

Implemented green actions for the event:

A nationwide event promoted green actions in all facilities such as the elimination of PET bottles and disposables. Attendees were encouraged to bring their own reusable bottles and utensils, and we suggested the elimination of single-use materials and proper waste management. The integration of the efforts of the organizers of these events at Tec de Monterrey led to a reduction in the consumption of 28,900 PET bottles and 50,680 polluting disposables. These actions prevented the emission of 4,085 kg of CO2 and the use of 221,514 liters of water for their production.

Additionally, en Campus Chihuahua, we achieved the recycling of 50 kg of aluminum and 320 kg of cardboard. We invited attendees to participate in an activation aiming to raise awareness and provide knowledge about the importance of waste separation, which impacted over 400 people.
