A brief description of any internal sustainability professional development and training opportunities that the institution makes available to non-academic staff:
The Office of Sustainability offers regular waste management trainings to Housekeeping staff to address special topics such as the state of the recycling market and local and regional zero waste initiatives.

The Office of Sustainability has developed a day-long interactive learning and development series surrounding Temple's sustainable move-out program that combines direct service with didactic sessions about waste and consumption and integrating sustainable practices into university business and campus life.

A brief description of any external professional development and training opportunities in sustainability that are supported by the institution :
The Office of Sustainability holds membership to two local sustainability-focused non-profit, non-government organizations: Circular Philadelphia and the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia .

The Office of Sustainability offers sponsorship for non-academic staff members who wish to attend any regularly scheduled programs including their annual meetings and other workshops, tours and events.

Temple has partnered with Solarize Philly to host an employee information session about Philadelphia's solar energy programs and provides resources for Philadelphia residents to transition their households to renewables.
