100
A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
A Staff Climate Survey was administered in May 2016. This survey was designed to learn about staff experiences and enhance the working environment at our various campuses. For the first time, the survey results were captured separately for each College and Division, which provides each unit more meaningful and actionable data. Human Resources is in the process of analyzing the results, comparing to the previous surveys, and identifying possible action steps.
A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation (including examples from the previous three years):
Emails inviting participation in the survey were sent to all staff employees. Employees had the option of entering into a voluntary prize drawing for one of 5 iPad minis and 5 Fitbits. The survey experienced a 32% response rate. Human Resources is in the process of analyzing the results, comparing to the previous years, and identifying possible action steps.
