A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas Campus spans 5,576.48 acres. This land area includes the following areas as commonly known/referenced: east campus, west campus, Veterinary Medicine area, and Agricultural Life Sciences area.

Which of the following features are present on campus and which are included within the institutional boundary?:
Present? Included?
Agricultural school Yes Yes
Medical school Yes No
Other professional school with labs or clinics (e.g. dental, nursing, pharmacy, public health, veterinary) Yes Yes
Museum Yes Yes
Satellite campus No No
Farm larger than 2 hectares or 5 acres Yes Yes
Agricultural experiment station larger than 2 hectares or 5 acres Yes Yes
Hospital No No

The rationale for excluding any features that are present from the institutional boundary:
The Texas A&M Health Science Center (HSC) site is not located on main campus and uses independent agencies for purchased utilities. Additionally, there are separate operational contracts for the HSC campus which would generate incompatible submission data for multiple STARS credits.

Additional documentation to support the submission :
Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
The campus institutional boundary is based on Utilities and Energy Services (UES) service areas. This allows for the most accurate reporting of operational credits such as Energy, GHG, Water, Waste, Wastewater, etc. Please note that STARS credits that pertain to grounds management, will use an alternate boundary and the exception will be noted in the credit.
