The university holds a multi-racial mixer event, celebrates Black History Month, gives diversity presentations, holds a Native American symposium, celebrates the Diwali Festival of Lights, sponsors the Con Dolores y Cesar to honor Cesar Chavez, holds a Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Celebration, and hosts a social justice film series.
