A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
All ACG new employees are notified to go through an HR Orientation Session at the beginning of their employment. At this session, they are informed about ACG Employees benefits, administrative policies and forms, which could be found on Blackboard. The orientation session touches sustainability areas like Campus Engagement, Diversity & Affordability, Well-being at work. Thus, at the HR Orientation Session, employees are informed about the ACG Employee Engagement Survey, its goal, its content and its impact to the College Community. They are informed about the existing ACG Policies (ACG Non-Discrimination, Anti-Harassment, Sexual Misconduct, Relationship Violence and Stalking Policy, Non-Discrimination Policy, Whistleblower Policy) which strictly prohibit any form of discrimination and harassment on Campus. They are briefed about the employee benefits, including the free use of athletic facilities, the Employment Doctor’s services, which promote the mental and physical well-being of employees. Employees are also informed about the no-smoke Campus and the no-smoking policy, which support financially employees at their effort to stop smoking.
