Our office of compensation reports that supporting documentation and specific amounts for adjunct faculty are confidential, and they were unable to provide an average or supporting documentation for this reason. However, the office verified that average compensation for adjunct faculty (specifically lecturers) is above the threshold of $6,000 per course required for credit. The collective bargaining agreement available at the link below indicates minimum wages per class taught by part-time faculty.
The email documentation of this correspondence with the Office of Compensation is available in the two attached pdfs. IN-21-email-1 is the outreach email, IN-21-email-2 is the response.
Additionally, the copy of the 2017-2022 CBA indicating per course wages for part-time faculty can be found in appendix A, page 36, in this link: https://as.tufts.edu/sites/default/files/CBApartTimeLecturers.pdf

Tufts part-time lecturers reached a five-year agreement with Tufts University in 2017 to get pay raises of 22.5% over 5 years for part-time faculty and 12.% increase for others. The adjunct faculty unionized in 2014.
