Tufts does not have a specific policy regarding C&D waste. Tufts hires independent contractors for all construction and demolition and they are expected to adhere to Massachusetts state law 310 CMR 19.017 which bans disposal of recyclables as well as C&D waste: wood, asphalt pavement brick and concrete (ABC), metal and clean gypsum wall board, from landfills or incinerators.
