A brief description of the employee wellness program, policy, or practice:
UDEM has health services available to the entire community, as well as many free sports practices. Also, the sports facilities are accessible to employees. There are two programs to promote health among employees: 1) Walking for your health: program which invites employees to walk through the campus. 2) Nutritional counseling: the purpose of this program is to provide free advice and provide the tools and nutritional knowledge to students and staff from the University of Monterrey in order to maintain a state of optimal health, reduce risk factors for chronic degenerative diseases while achieving to maintain, lose or gain weight according to each specific case. Additionally with Integral Health Week, where lectures, medical evaluation, health booths, nutritional counseling, lectures on addiction prevention, laboratory tests, drills, master classes, zumba fitness, pilates and yoga are offered.
