A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
RF students are trained to facilitate the adaptation process of foreign students to university life,
Each RF is in charge of a complete floor of residents, of which they are responsible for channeling and / or monitoring the needs of the residents, promoting integration and coexistence as well as promoting and enforcing the standards of community life and values of Residences. UDEM.
Among the activities they carry out are recycling campaigns per floor, promoting events without disposables, a garden club, external food suppliers work with reusable dishes, use of thermos to reduce the consumption of PET bottles at events and promotes the filling of common drinking fountains, recycling of materials in floor decorations and for a craft club.
"Amarillo para todos Campaign" where solidarity consumption is promoted. At the kitchen and in Social Rooms students can find cooking utensils, reading and text books that are donated for common use instead of buying new ones and use additional resourcers.
