Rodadas UDEM

A brief description of the campaign:
As part of the mobility office activities, during the semester the university host group bike rides, where students and employees are invited to ride together and promote sustainable transportation. Students and professors can bring their own bikes or rent one for the ride at a low cost. Technical service for bicycles is also provided before the event. Participant are encouraged to dress up according the festivity in cases when the event matches with a Mexican festivity.

Students and professor continue getting involved on activities like this, the numbers of participants have increased in every bike ride and there is less people renting a bike, now people have their owns and even use them for moving around the campus.

New Student Orientation

A brief description of the campaign (2nd campaign):
The Sustainability Center staff meets with the new students as they arrive on campus for new student orientation (Gente UDEM). Students will be exposed to sustainability projects and campaigns at the University such as the the waste management program, mobility program, awareness events.

As part of this efforts Mobility Ofifice have design a whole event talking about Mobility in different areas. The 2021 edition brought topics about gender equality, how it is for women move on public transportation, and analysis of challenges for public transportation and how our current health situation affects this services, among others.

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign (2nd campaign):
The possitive impacts we have noticed are the increase in the amount of waste that is recycled, the number of student that participate in activities such as cycling, carpooling, etc.

As part of these events students and professor are invited to participate and share on social platforms how they are implementing all these strategies in order to reduce their ecological footprint.
