A brief description of the graduate-level degree program:
In order to specifically meet the needs of society and the labour market, the master's degree in Environment is divided into a variety of paths, some of which lead to a double degree. The course-type paths aim to train environmental and sustainable development professionals who can contribute to the implementation of sound management practices and to influence actions in order to bring sustainable changes within society and within organizations. Interdisciplinarity and critical thinking are at the forefront of the academic learning. The environmental management path can lead to a transcript mention "international", an indication of the ability for the students to analyze environmental and social issues according to the constraints and realities of the international context.
The course-type paths are as follows:
Environmental Management;
Environmental Management and Sustainable Development;
Environmental Management and Circular Economy;
Environmental Management and Applied Politics;
Environmental Management and Climate Change (bilingual (French/English) track);
Environmental Management and Industrial Ecology (double degree with Université de technologie de Troyes);
Environmental Management and Biodiversity Integrated to Territorial Management (double degree with Université de Montpellier);
Environmental Management (double degree with the Master in Professionalization in Applied Ecology);
Environmental Management in Developing Countries.
Lastly, the research-type path aims at training research professionals in environmental or sustainable development. They contribute, through their various types of research, to influence actions and bring about lasting changes within society and within organizations.

The purpose of this doctoral level microprogram is to train professionals in strategic environmental consulting at a senior level, who are able to provide thoughtful advice to organizations at a strategic level on actions to address considering environmental issues that affect or will affect their mission.
Specific skills to be developed and associated with the program:
To evaluate in an interdisciplinary way environmental issues at the strategic scale of an organization that may emanate new practices, research or development, in different sectors (e.g. governance, ethics, economic, legislative, technological);
To make a critical judgement on current environmental arguments, data, methodologies and practices in light of recent or ongoing research findings;
To choose the most appropriate organization’s strategic levers for an intervention;
To propose an innovative approach to a strategic environmental issue;
To undertake a reflexive approach on the strategic advisory role related to the environment and more particularly on the ethical dimension.
