Environmental Auditing Training Seminar
In a context where organizations are concerned with improving their environmental performance and complying with ever-changing legislation, environmental auditing is a flexible tool that allows both to validate the level of compliance with laws, regulations or to other indicators, as well as collecting various information in order to make informed decisions. The audit is also essential for the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System’s certification and maintenance. For those wishing to improve their skills in the field of environmental auditing, this training seminar is offered by the Sustainable Development University Training Center (Centre universitaire de formation en environnement et développement durable (CUFE)) and addresses environmental issues from the perspective of regulatory compliance, as well as plan and perform environmental audits in accordance with recognized standards in the field (e.g. ISO 19001).
The Environmental Auditing Training Seminar, created in 2002, is aimed at professionals with a good environmental background (about 5 years) and a good knowledge of the ISO 14001 standard. The trainers are experts in their field and recognized by their peers. The pedagogical approach encourages exchanges around case studies applied in the context of environmental auditing.
This training seminar is recognized by the Québec Association of Environmental Auditing (AQVE) for an application for registration.

Environmental Site Assessment Training Seminar
The Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) is an essential tool for financial institutions, property owners and site purchasers in the context of real estate transactions, environmental liability calculations or proof of due diligence. As environmental site evaluators and other experts in the field are subject to an important legal, political-administrative and normative framework, this training seminar is essential to ensure an appropriate level of knowledge and skills. In this context, it enables environmental professionals to develop their skills in the field of ESA, and more specifically, to apply the entire ESA process by considering the legal rules applicable to different situations.
The Environmental Site Assessment Training Seminar, also created in 2002, is aimed at professionals with a good experience in environment (about 5 years) and in environmental site assessment (minimum 2 years of experience). The pedagogical approach promotes exchanges around case studies applied in the context of the environmental site assessment.
This training seminar is recognized by the Quebec Association of Environmental Auditing (AQVE) for an application for registration.
