A brief description of each certified dining hall or food service outlet, including the year the certification was achieved and/or renewed:
The University's food concession, "Café CAUS", holds a LEAF Level 2 certification since October 2016. This certification includes 3 levels which quantify the environmental commitment of institutions. Level 2 specifies that the organization exceeds LEAF's minimum expectations and demonstrates its commitment to reducing its environmental impacts.
Café CAUS food concession is responsible for preparing meals at the University and offers a catering service. Its specific actions pertaining to sustainable development include recycling and waste composting, the use of biodegradable tableware and the purchase of local products. Café CAUS services are offered both at the main and Health campuses.
