A brief description of the undergraduate degree program:
The bachelor's degree program in Environmental Studies aims to train professionals with a systemic understanding of environmental issues, allowing them to take into account the different dimensions which have to be considered for analyses and decision-making. This program enables the student to develop skills aim at collaborating effectively in order to address the environmental challenges faced by organizations by applying appropriate research methods and information analysis within an interdisciplinary context.

Specific environmental skills to be developed and associated with the degree program:
• Analyze the impacts of human activity on the environment
• By way of understanding the multidisciplinary nature of the issues, collaborate in the design and implementation of relevant solutions to prevent or reduce the adverse impacts of human activities on the environment

A brief description of the undergraduate minor or concentration:
This program allows students to understand the multidisciplinary nature of the issues, to analyze the impacts of human activity on the environment and to know about solutions as to prevent or reduce these impacts.

This 30 credits undergraduate program allows students to understand and analyze environmental issues through an interdisciplinary approach.

Under some conditions, courses followed through the certificate can be transfered into the Bachelor Program. An academic councellor will help students select appropriate courses to achieve his own training objectives. The certificate can also be incorporated into the multidisplinary Bachelor offered by the Faculty of arts, humanities and social sciences.
