Open access repository

A brief description of the open access repository:
Archipel is the free access electronic publications archive of UQAM and is made up of documents resulting from the University's research work. Documents submitted by professors and lecturers can be found in Archipelago. The library service also deposits the official version of UQAM's theses and dissertations, accepted since 2006, as well as doctoral essays in psychology accepted since January 2014.
Filing in an archive such as Archipel increases the visibility of research documents and makes them more quickly accessible to a greater number of researchers and is a concrete contribution to the global movement in favor of free access to scientific knowledge.

The University is committed to ensuring the sustainability of access to documents included in its institutional repository and thus, to promote the influence of the results of research and the creation of the Institution. The University encourages its professors to publish texts designed within the framework of their university task. The University also encourages the dissemination of original research and creation results to the general public. For media relations, the Communications Department can support actresses, actors in research and creation.
