A brief description of the campaign(s):
Nearly 23% of the Université Laval campus is wooded. Unfortunately, a lot of trash is blown in by the wind or left by passersby. Three years ago, Building Services began holding an annual woods cleanup day for students and staff.

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign(s):
In 2013, more than 610 kg of trash was collected. Some of the unexpected “treasures” found included two shovels, a golf club, a speaker, a full can of neon green paint, a truck’s running board, a pool hose, and a toothbrush!
Over 1,260 kg of trash was collected in 2012, and 640 kg was collected in 2011.
